Laravel-Excel: Using Laravel to Import Data
--
After a couple of years of tinkering around, I have finally written my second book called “Laravel Excel: Using Laravel to Import Data.” It’s a short guide that details out Laravel Excel and the most important aspects of it with practical examples.
I’m also on the verge of releasing my book on PHP. I’ve written and re-written this book for the last 2 years. I’m in the formatting stage and I’m hoping to get it out in the next couple of weeks. It is rather gigantic but I believe it walks the user through the most practical concepts of PHP starting with the basics and going through most of the advanced topics that PHP has to offer.
I’m also about half-way done with my Laravel book which again should cover Laravel in detail from a “developer trying to learn the concept” perspective. We start off with the fundamentals and quickly move into a project. After the project, more advanced Laravel concepts come to the forefront.
Finally, the code for my second Algorithms book is written. I’m slowly working through that one since I want to make sure that the reader understands not only the algorithm, but the thought process in how I generated those algorithms.
Am I writing anything else you might ask? Of course! I’ve always wanted to write a novel so I’m writing two :). They’re both horror novels, but one has a Computer Science spin to it. I won’t ruin them here, but needless to say, I’ve been busy.
Anything else? Yes! But I’ll keep the last book a secret. It is something that I haven’t seen done in programming yet and I’m sure there will be a significant reader base that appreciates it.
